No one exists without relationships of some sort. Humans are an inter-dependent species. Even a hermit in a cave probably has a teacher. She or he certainly had a mother. Committed monogamous bonds are one form of relationship, perhaps the most ultimately transformative. But then there is the dance that single folks do, and the life-changing encounters that unfold in almost everyone s life from time to time. Right at the heart of the matter are those astonishing moments when souls touch and our faith in the Eternal Mysteries becomes as palpable as the force of gravity.

What light can astrology shed on these precious connections? Can it help us sort out lasting truth from the hormonal fog? In this workshop, we honor the fact that there are many good paths available, each of which can serve a soul-purpose. We will celebrate friendship, that human masterpiece. We’ll respect sexual diversity. We will rejoice in the fact that humanity is moving beyond narrow definitions of marriage. We will celebrate everything except exploitation.

Technically, the seminar will explore intimacy from three perspectives. First, the intimate message of the individual birthchart. Second, how charts interact through interaspects. And third, the composite chart. The language of the workshop is psychological. The background is unabashedly metaphysical – reincarnational language is used where appropriate, and techniques for seeing the prior-life dynamics of the couple are analyzed. Overshadowing everything is a core commitment to extolling and supporting the power of human freedom, imagination and creativity to shape our responses to the intimate questions the planets ask.
